Learn Your Anatomy: Muscles, Bones, and Facia in Exercise Application
When: Sunday, 8/31
10:30am-1pm
Where: Center For Balanced Training
Have you always wanted to learn about anatomy in relation to exercise and movement? The WHY behind exercises?
Did you know that knowledge about your body can help with pain management? That it can help make your training sessions more effective? And help you improve your body awareness??
This is a rare opportunity to learn about your anatomy in an applied way! We will be moving a LOT! So if you are a kinesthetic and visual learner, this workshop is for YOU!
You can expect to learn:
Your joints, and which muscles attach to them, and how they create movement
How muscles, bones, and facia work in harmony to make movement happen
How to activate certain muscle groups to ‘Feel’ it more!
How to formulate a workout for yourself
How to know if you are strong enough to increase weight
When and when not to stretch
Analysis and insight of your own body and its needs!
We hope to see you there! This will be a very interactive and active class, so bring water and comfy clothes and something to write with for notes!
